Senator Clement Sava revealed on Realitatea TV that the Bolojan government left behind debts totaling 50 billion lei, approximately 10 billion euros. He detailed the composition of these debts, including unpaid medical leave, unpaid invoices from the Anghel Saligny program, energy supplier debts, and outstanding VAT refunds. Additionally, there are significant liabilities to magistrates and Pfizer, along with unpaid bills related to PNRR and SAFE. Sava warned that the actual deficit could exceed 6.3% of GDP, highlighting an urgent need to address at least 30 billion lei in overdue payments to prevent business bankruptcies. He urged Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare to disclose the true financial situation of Romania.
