In 2023, DEER's CAPEX is set at 1.4 billion lei, including 450 million lei in non-reimbursable funds. The company has submitted projects worth 3.6 billion lei for funding, focusing on modernizing its SCADA system and expanding network automation. DEER also supports prosumers by upgrading transformers to manage voltage levels effectively. The approved investment plan for 2026-2035 includes around one billion euros for smart grid development and improving service reliability.
