The Bulgarian government has decided to purchase 32 VL MICA anti-aircraft missiles from France and Denmark, funded through the SAFE European loan mechanism. The Bulgarian Defense Minister will negotiate and sign the agreement, which requires parliamentary approval. Additionally, Bulgaria will join an international initiative for low-altitude air defense cooperation with several countries.
