A mortar bomb and an artillery fuse were found in Orășeni Vale, Botoșani, during road construction work. The explosive devices were discovered by a worker involved in land clearing. The Botoșani Emergency Situations Inspectorate's bomb disposal team quickly responded to the scene. They identified the items as a 60 mm mortar bomb and an artillery fuse. Both items were safely transported to a military range for destruction.
