Ciprian Văcaru, a PSD state secretary, discussed financial arrears left by Ilie Bolojan's government, claiming the state owes approximately 13.2 billion lei. This includes 3.2 billion for energy compensation and nearly 5 billion for unpaid VAT and medical leave. He emphasized the need for a budget rectification that accurately reflects public finances, criticizing previous figures as misleading. Văcaru highlighted unpaid invoices and issues with the Anghel Saligny program, warning that the deficit could reach 7% by year-end. He argued that the current deficit of 3% does not account for all state obligations, comparing it to an individual not paying credit installments.
