A new investment of around 250 million euros has been launched in Stăuceni, near Chișinău, aimed at boosting Moldova's economy and attracting Romanian visitors. Prime Minister Vasile Tofan highlighted that this project represents about 1.3% of Moldova's GDP and is one of the largest private investments since independence. It is expected to create jobs, develop new services, and enhance economic activity, particularly in tourism. Tofan expressed hopes that more people from Iași will choose Chișinău for weekend getaways. The investment involves a commercial and service complex, with companies SUMMA and FIBA also expanding into energy projects.
