The "Alexandru Odobescu" County Library in Călăraşi celebrates 143 years since its establishment and 7 years as a modern library. An event on October 30 will honor collaborators, loyal readers, and winners of the National Prose Contest. Two books will be launched, followed by a signing session with the authors. The library, founded in 1883, now holds over 350,000 items and hosts around 1,000 community activities annually.
