A new football record has been set by amateur player Sam Groeschel, who executed 773 penalty kicks in one hour, surpassing the previous record by 196 kicks. Groeschel, 25, developed a passion for soccer at a young age and aimed to achieve a Guinness World Record. His strategy involved executing as many penalties as possible quickly, sometimes intentionally missing to manage time. Supported by over 30 spectators and his coach, he successfully completed the challenge, inspired by the former record holder, Marvin Sordell, who had 577 kicks in 2021.
