Daniela Cîmpean, president of Sibiu County Council, aims to adapt a sports collaboration model from Valencia to Sibiu, inspired by beach volleyball courts. She envisions free sports facilities for youth, similar to the BeachBol project in Valencia, which combines municipal infrastructure with club activities. Cîmpean highlights the importance of providing alternatives to screen time for young people and draws parallels with the successful 'Years of Hiking' initiative in Sibiu. She believes that, despite lacking Valencia's beach, Sibiu has beautiful locations and passionate sports clubs to create accessible sports spaces.
