Environmental authorities may issue the revised environmental agreement for the A1 Sibiu - Pitești Highway in December, according to Cristian Pistol from CNAIR. A meeting was held to expedite the review process for the environmental agreement necessary for the mountainous sections of the highway. The construction companies are currently working on limited sections due to the lack of the revised agreement. The timeline agreed upon aims for the issuance of the revised agreement in December 2026, allowing contractors to work on the entire project area. ANMAP will request local environmental agencies to analyze the revision form submitted by CNAIR.
