The SRI Hospital "Agrippa Ionescu" in Balotești has been inaugurated after an investment of 961.4 million lei, primarily funded by the PNRR. The facility features 520 beds and 14 operating rooms, with over 77% of patients being civilians. The new infrastructure includes a modern building and extensive renovations, aimed at enhancing medical services and patient care. The hospital will consolidate its operations from Bucharest to Balotești, expanding its specialties and improving digital solutions for patient monitoring. Valeriu Gheorghiță emphasized the importance of this development for the Romanian healthcare system.
