The new Emergency Clinical Hospital "Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu" in Balotești has been inaugurated, funded largely by European grants. It features 520 beds, 14 operating rooms, and advanced medical equipment. The project involved constructing a new building and renovating the existing one, covering over 55,000 square meters. The hospital aims to enhance patient care and streamline operations with interconnected facilities. It offers various specialties and has seen a significant increase in patient admissions. Digital systems for clinical documentation and patient monitoring have also been implemented. The relocation of medical and administrative structures from Bucharest is planned to improve collaboration and resource use.
