NEPI Rockcastle has inaugurated its second photovoltaic park in Ariceștii Rahtivani, Romania, enhancing its energy transition strategy. The 75.5-hectare park has a capacity of 56.2 MW and features over 90,000 bifacial solar panels. It is expected to produce around 73,000 MWh annually, enough to power over 40,000 households while reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 17,000 tons each year. This project is part of NEPI's green energy investment program, which exceeds 100 million euros. The company aims to increase its renewable energy share to 31% by 2026, significantly up from 6% two years ago. The site also repurposes previously degraded land and supports local agriculture.
