Viscri has transformed its waste management through community mobilization, increasing volunteer participation from 15 to over 75. A free collection center for bulky waste and composting initiatives have encouraged local involvement. Previously, littering was a persistent issue, but the establishment of a dedicated drop-off point has provided a practical solution. The project, supported by the Alba Eglesia Foundation, has also included educational workshops on recycling and composting, fostering a shift in community attitudes towards waste disposal. This model is now being replicated in neighboring villages, enhancing regional waste management efforts.
