The archaeological site of Sarmizegetusa Regia will be open to visitors only on Sundays in November due to ongoing restoration works. The project, valued at 11.3 million lei, aims to conserve and restore significant elements of the site, including the Great Temple of Andesite and Terrace X. The Hunedoara County Council has managed the site since 2013 and the other Dacian fortresses since 2019.
