The Bod commune near Brașov has transitioned to a centralized public safety system using Axis technology and Milestone Systems' video management platform. This project enhances traffic monitoring and supports law enforcement activities. The implementation occurred in three phases, covering priority areas and expanding to public spaces and main traffic routes. The system now includes around 90 cameras, including license plate recognition cameras at strategic entry and exit points. The mayor emphasized the importance of safety for residents and visitors, highlighting the project's modern tools for effective monitoring and investigation support. The network is built around Axis cameras, ensuring high-quality images in various conditions, and features a hybrid communication architecture for long-term development.
