Adelina Rogojinaru, a 16-year-old judoka, won two gold medals at the European Ne-Waza Judo Championship in Riga, leading to the Romanian national anthem being played twice. She competed in the cadet and junior categories, showcasing her talent against top European competitors. Having started judo three and a half years ago, she has also excelled in swimming prior to this sport. Adelina maintains excellent academic performance, aiming for a balance between her studies and judo training. She plans to compete in the 2026 Gymnasiade in Rio de Janeiro and aspires to qualify for the World Championship in 2027.
