Emergency units and ambulance services across the country will receive an additional funding of 150 million lei, announced Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete. This funding aims to support UPU and ambulance services facing resource shortages. The funds were sourced from reallocating existing budget allocations within the Ministry of Health, with some projects postponed for 30 to 40 days. While this measure won't solve all financial issues in the emergency system, it is deemed necessary for medical teams to have adequate resources. Additionally, Rogobete plans to revise the organization and payment of medical shifts, including adjustments for resident doctors.
