On October 26, 2026, His Eminence Irineu officiated the Divine Liturgy at Dumbrava Monastery, emphasizing the need for Christians to awaken from moral indifference. The event marked the feast of Saint Demetrius, attended by many faithful and clergy. Irineu urged believers to honor their Christian identity by adhering to divine commandments. The monastery, dedicated to Saint Demetrius, was established in 1996 and features a Byzantine-style church. The ceremony included performances by vocal groups from the Archdiocese and local children’s choir.
