The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) is launching a national development project called "The Second Union of Romanians," aimed at reducing regional disparities, modernizing transport and energy infrastructure, and strengthening economic ties with Moldova. The project will be presented on December 1, 2026, in Alba Iulia, addressing issues such as uneven regional development and insufficient connectivity. A strategic plan, "Romania 2028 – 2040," includes developing transport corridors and enhancing energy networks. AUR also proposes a public-private fund for investments in Moldova and aims to unify educational standards and stock exchanges between Romania and Moldova.
