The opening of Section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway depends on final tests of the Momaia tunnel and completion of the exit to DN73G. The director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that monitoring systems are being checked on-site. Over 2,500 monitoring points are installed to ensure safety. The final tests are scheduled for late November, and all systems must be verified for safe traffic conditions. The construction of this section was carried out by the Austrian company PORR, costing 1.678 billion lei without VAT. Once opened, approximately 54 kilometers of the highway will be operational.
