OMV Petrom has launched three photovoltaic parks in partnership with Renovatio, totaling 130 MW capacity. The projects, located in Țăndărei, Bucovăț, and Căzănești, received €78 million in investments, including €26 million from Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The net capacity for OMV Petrom is about 65 MW, contributing to a total renewable energy capacity of 200 MW. The parks are expected to produce 0.2 TWh annually, enough to power over 110,000 households. OMV Petrom aims to exceed 2,500 MW operational capacity by 2030, enhancing its position in the energy market.
