The Brașov Opera invites music lovers to experience two unforgettable performances of Puccini's "Tosca" on October 31 and November 1, 2026. This opera, inspired by Victorien Sardou's play, explores themes of love, politics, and sacrifice in 1800s Rome. The story follows Floria Tosca and her lover Mario Cavaradossi as they navigate the dangers posed by Baron Scarpia, who desires Tosca for himself. The opera features iconic arias and dramatic moments, including the famous "Vissi d'arte, vissi d'amore." The performances will showcase different casts and include the Brașov Opera Orchestra and Choir, under the direction of Lorenzo Biagi. Tickets are available for the November 1 show, while the October 31 performance is sold out.
