Police and prosecutors conducted searches in Drobeta-Turnu Severin related to a case of metal theft, with damages exceeding 60,000 lei. Investigations revealed two distinct groups involved in stealing copper and iron from a commercial facility between October 4 and 16. Eight individuals were brought in for questioning as part of the operation, which is linked to a recent fire at a cellulose factory.
