The first vertical wind tunnel for the public in Romania has opened in Ghiroda, near Timișoara, thanks to Tiberiu Rada's passion for skydiving. The project, developed with a €9.5 million investment, features a 3-meter diameter and 10-meter high flight chamber, allowing air speeds up to 290 km/h. Participants receive protective gear and guidance from instructors. The facility also includes a fitness area, sports spaces, a children's playground, a café, a restaurant, and plans for a nearby hotel. Local officials believe this attraction will draw visitors nationwide.
