In slot games, a player can see a winning combination but still end up with a lower balance due to the difference between payouts and total bets. The net result of a round is calculated by subtracting the total bet from the total payout. For example, if a player bets 5 RON and wins 2 RON, their balance decreases overall. The Gambling Commission emphasizes the importance of understanding this distinction, as multiple lines may yield different payouts. Players should track total bets, final payouts, and balance changes to assess their performance accurately. Simply counting winning rounds does not reflect the overall outcome if payouts are less than bets.
