An unidentified assailant attacked a security guard with knives outside the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade, leading to the attacker being shot dead. The Serbian police classified the incident as a terrorist attack and raised the terror alert to the highest level. Interior Minister Ivica Dačić stated that the attacker, who shouted "Allahu Akbar," was known to security services for alleged ties to ISIS. The guard sustained minor injuries during the incident.
