The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) is launching a national development project called "The Second Union of Romanians," aimed at reducing regional disparities and enhancing infrastructure. The project will be officially presented on December 1, 2026, in Alba Iulia. It seeks to address issues such as uneven regional development and insufficient connectivity with neighboring countries. Key components include developing transport infrastructure, establishing a north-south corridor, and creating a public-private fund for investments in Moldova. AUR also plans to unify educational standards and stock exchanges between Romania and Moldova.
