U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected soon, aiming to advance peace talks. Zelensky confirmed a meeting is planned for November, mediated by the U.S., to address stalled negotiations. Russia has indicated the meeting will occur in Abu Dhabi, while the Kremlin insists any talks must take place in Moscow. Both sides have previously engaged in negotiations without resolution, with Russia opposing any ceasefire before a substantial agreement is reached.
