Craiova is set to build a unique arena as part of a multifunctional complex, featuring various sports facilities and community programs. The project, covering over 11,000 square meters and accommodating more than 8,000 people, will include indoor athletics, cycling tracks, and spaces for multiple sports. It will also offer therapy pools, massage rooms, and educational areas. The arena aims to serve the community with programs for all age groups and abilities. Funded by European grants, the total investment is 54 million euros, with 39 million euros being non-repayable funds. The contract was signed by key officials at the Dolj County Council.
