During a press conference, AUR senator Petrișor Peiu presented the "Second Union" project aimed at enhancing social cohesion and infrastructure development in Romania. He highlighted significant regional disparities and proposed modern transport links, particularly a North-South corridor connecting Moldova to Dobrogea and Muntenia. Peiu emphasized the importance of the Constanța Port and new airport projects around Bucharest. He also discussed increasing energy network interconnectivity and equitable education across regions. The project will be formally introduced on December 1 in Alba Iulia, along with a public-private investment fund for Moldova. Peiu reiterated plans for a unified stock exchange between Bucharest and Chișinău, referencing the recently launched Moldova International Exchange.
