Romanian students are looking forward to their winter vacation, which will start on December 23, 2026, and last until January 10, 2027. This break allows them to celebrate Christmas and New Year with family. The last school day before the holiday is December 22, 2026, and students will return to school on January 11, 2027. The winter vacation includes religious holidays on January 6 and 7. The academic calendar also features other breaks, including a fall vacation from October 24 to November 1, 2026, and a spring vacation from April 24 to May 4, 2027, coinciding with Easter. The February break will vary by region, scheduled between February 15 and March 7, 2027.
