Black Sea Renewables SRL, controlled by Metka, has received authorization for three photovoltaic parks in Teleorman, totaling nearly 290 MW. The parks, located in Trivalea-Moșteni, are expected to be operational within 24 months. Metka, part of the Greek Metlen group, is known for its energy projects in Romania, including a gas-fired power plant. The group recently announced plans for energy storage projects in Southeast Europe, aiming for 1,500 MW capacity. Their partnership with PPC will leverage both companies' strengths in energy development and operations.
