Romania is nearing the completion of discussions to acquire drone defense systems, as stated by Prime Minister Luca Niculescu in Chisinau. He emphasized that developing drone programs is a government priority and that initial systems will be known models, followed by domestically produced ones. Collaboration with Moldova is also underway to enhance drone defense initiatives, especially in light of real-world testing in Ukraine. Niculescu assured that the first systems would arrive soon.
