The express road project connecting Râmnicu Vâlcea to the A1 highway has passed the prefeasibility study stage, as announced by the Minister of Transport. The project will now be reviewed by the Technical-Economic Committee of the Ministry. Following the approval of the prefeasibility study, the next steps include preparing the feasibility study and the tender process. Meanwhile, the existing DN 73C road will undergo rehabilitation to improve connectivity until the express road is completed. The modernization aims to enhance traffic flow and support the development of the surrounding areas. The project includes significant infrastructure improvements, such as new bridges and road expansions, with a total investment planned over two years.
