The Bucharest General Council has approved a twinning agreement with Kyiv to enhance cooperation and friendship between the two cities. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in various sectors, including culture, education, and infrastructure. Both municipalities will promote joint economic and social development projects, share best practices, and provide mutual support during crises. Each city will appoint a coordinator to oversee the implementation of the agreement, and an annual cooperation program will be established. This initiative follows a previous resolution from March 2022 to initiate the twinning process.
