The Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant is expected to restart one of its reactors around November 15, depending on the Danube's water levels. Minister of Energy Dumitru Chisăliță indicated that the restart is contingent on hydrological conditions after both reactors were shut down due to low water levels this summer. Recent increases in the river's flow have led to more optimistic projections for the reactors' return to operation. However, any changes in weather or water conditions could alter the timeline. The plant had to halt operations in July and August due to insufficient water for cooling.
