Four novels remain in the running for the 2026 Goncourt Prize, announced by the Goncourt Academy. The finalists include works by Philippe Jaenada, Yannick Haenel, Sylvain Prudhomme, and Clémentine Mélois. Notably, the first two are among the best-selling books in France this literary season. All finalists are published by Madrigall group, which also won the 2025 Goncourt Prize. The winner will be revealed on November 3, 2026, by Philippe Claudel, with the jury now consisting of nine members due to a recent death.
