A fourth tanker carrying diesel from Russia to the US is set to depart on Wednesday, following an agreement between Putin and Trump. Novak expressed surprise at the opposition from some US politicians regarding the deal. He emphasized Russia's readiness to resume gas supplies to Europe and highlighted the country's ability to sell gas to other markets if Europe declines. Novak noted that LNG is currently more expensive for China compared to Russian pipeline gas. He believes that the Nord Stream pipelines will remain in demand in the long term, benefiting both Europe and Russia. The recent agreement includes significant diesel shipments to the US, which has drawn criticism from Ukraine's president.
