The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in Constanța County, effective from October 27, 2026, 16:00 to 19:00. Rainfall amounts may exceed 35 liters per square meter. Additionally, a yellow alert for significant rainfall and wind gusts is in effect for Bucharest and seven other counties. This alert is valid from October 27, 10:00 to October 28, 12:00, with expected rainfall of 20-30 liters per square meter. A second yellow alert for wind gusts of 50-70 km/h is also in place for four counties. Snow is forecasted in the mountains, with a new layer of 3-5 centimeters expected at altitudes above 1,700 meters.
