The National Meteorological Administration has issued a weather warning for heavy rain and strong winds in southeastern Romania from October 26 to October 28, 2026. Snow accumulation is expected in mountainous areas, reaching up to 15 centimeters. Rainfall will be moderate, with some regions experiencing mixed precipitation. Wind gusts will intensify, particularly in southern Transylvania and parts of Oltenia. A yellow alert for rain and wind has been issued for several counties, with expected rainfall of 20-30 liters per square meter and wind speeds of 50-70 km/h in certain areas.
