ENNA Group from Croatia has acquired a large-scale photovoltaic project in Dobrogea, Romania, which includes a solar power plant and energy storage system. The Medgidia project will have a planned capacity of 166 MWp and a storage capacity of 612 MWh. Construction is set to begin in early 2027, with commercial operation expected by early 2028. This acquisition follows ENNA's earlier purchase of the Mihăilești solar project, which is nearing completion. Both projects aim to enhance ENNA's renewable energy portfolio in Romania and support the transition to cleaner energy sources in Central and Eastern Europe.
