The fourth section of the Sibiu-Piteşti highway is nearly complete and expected to open next month, according to Transport Minister Ştefan Ovidiu Popa. Meanwhile, work on sections two and three is hindered, operating at only 45% capacity due to a stalled environmental agreement. Popa plans to meet with the Environment Minister to address this issue. The fourth section includes a 10 km stretch connecting Curtea de Argeş and Ticveni, featuring advanced safety systems. Although no specific timeline can be provided, traffic is anticipated to commence on section four in November.
