The section includes Romania's first highway tunnel, equipped with over 2,500 monitoring points for incident detection. Final tests with ISU are scheduled for November, and the completion of the connection to DN73G is also required. The opening is anticipated this year, ahead of the original 2027 deadline, allowing traffic on 54 km of the highway.
