The Romanian postal services market grew by 14% in 2025, reaching 7.3 billion lei, driven by increased parcel deliveries and automated locker systems. The number of parcels sent rose to 372 million, with a significant portion delivered through lockers. The average revenue per parcel increased slightly, while international parcels from outside the EU approached six million. Major domestic providers included Delivery Solutions – Sameday, Fan Courier, and Cargus. Revenue from correspondence services declined, despite a rise in average revenue per item.
