Noah Wyle has been named "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2026 by People magazine, surprising him with the honor. Known for his role as Dr. John Carter in "ER," Wyle's recent success in the HBO series "The Pitt" has contributed to his resurgence in popularity. Initially thinking the announcement was a joke, Wyle expressed disbelief at receiving such recognition. His career has seen significant achievements, including multiple Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe win for his latest role. Wyle succeeds Jonathan Bailey, the first openly gay man to receive the title, continuing a tradition that began in 1985.
