A photovoltaic park with a minimum installed capacity of 4 MW is being developed on a former landfill site in Galați, funded by European grants of 25 million lei. The project includes the installation of 8,000 solar panels and necessary electrical infrastructure, expected to produce 5,630 MWh of energy annually. The park will cover 6.2 hectares and is set to be completed by summer 2027.
