Four Romanian youths attempted to rob a jewelry store in Padova by crashing their car into it but fled without stealing anything. They were quickly apprehended by police nearby. The suspects, aged 19 to 24 and without stable residence in Italy, had stolen the car a day prior to the incident. They left behind burglary tools, including masks and gloves. The police charged them with theft, attempted robbery, and illegal possession of burglary instruments.
