Romanian authorities, including SRI and DIICOT, have dismantled a sabotage network linked to Russia targeting the defense industry. Three foreign nationals, two from Belarus and one from Ukraine, are under investigation for attempted diversion acts. The investigation follows a fire at the Carfil industrial platform in Brașov, which was allegedly caused by this network. Two suspects were arrested in Germany while preparing similar acts, and a third was located in Poland. The Romanian government emphasizes its commitment to national security and ongoing investigations into potential threats to critical infrastructure.
