The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced plans to change the composition of committees responsible for recognizing and equating medical qualifications due to delays reported by doctors. He emphasized the need for the Ministry to support rather than hinder medical professionals. The changes aim to address complaints regarding the slow processing of qualifications, especially for those obtained abroad, which could discourage Romanian doctors from returning home. Rogobete stated that he would not tolerate bureaucratic obstacles or personal interests affecting the careers of young doctors. He called for accountability and respect from committee members towards early-career physicians.
